Long-standing members recognized!

Four individuals were recognized with Certificates of Continuous Membership at Gaylord’s Memorial Day Ceremony.  Waldo Reckdahl, William Otto and Donald Marth were all recognized for being Legion Post members for 50 years.  Marlene Kloeckl was recognized for 65 years of continuous membership to the Legion Auxiliary.

Dancing Like The Stars

Two SE referendums a possibility this year

March Lion

The upper midwest was reminded it’s still winter as snow and high winds roared through many states this past weekend, including Minnesota.  Nearly ten inches of snow fell in Gaylord and it was accompanied by high winds.

City seeking federal funds for Lake Titlow dam project

The Lake Titlow dam is scheduled to be replaced within the next couple of years.  Sibley County Board of Commissioners recently agreed to a Letter of Support for the project as the City of Gaylord seeks federal funding.  For more details on the project, see the March 19th Gaylord Hub.
