Gaylord was in the “bullseye” of a snow event on Halloween.

Sibley East junior Paige Gardiner placed 12th Saturday in the Class A State Cross Country Meet.  Gardiner, Julio Alejandro and Gavin Pomplun were Sibley East’s state qualifiers this year.  For more details, see the November 7th edition of The Gaylord Hub.

Sibley East’s tennis team finished runnerup in the section tournament Monday, one win shy of a state tourney berth.  The Lady Wolverines defeated the #3 seed and #2 seed in the tournament.  They fell to top seed Providence Academy 5-2 in the finals.

Funds from the Gaylord Downtown Association were used to plant trees in the parking lot west of the post office.  A couple of parking lots and alleys were included this year in Gaylord’s Street and Utility Improvement Project.
