Changes in mask mandate

On Thursday May 13th, Governor Walz announced the end of Minnesota’s statewide mask requirement, aligning Minnesota with new Centers for
Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidance on face coverings. Minnesotans who are not fully vaccinated are strongly recommended to wear face coverings indoors.
Visiting restrictions are again in place at Oak Terrace in Gaylord. According to owner Dennis Hood, two staff members who primarily worked in the Memory Care Unit tested positive for COVID-19 last weekend. Two residents in that unit also tested positive, and one was fully vaccinated, Hood said.
For now, there are no visitations allowed throughout Oak Terrace. The restrictions were scheduled to be discussed again Tuesday.
