Baseball team blanks NRHEG

It was another blowout win for Sibley East’s baseballers Tuesday.  The Wolverines blanked New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva 8-0 in the second round of the section tournament.  Head coach Dan Hoefs said pitcher Brody Serbus was in control the entire game.  Sam Ebert led the Wolverines offensively with four RBI’s.  The victory sets up a clash with top seed Belle Plaine.  That game will be played Thursday (5:00 p.m.) in Belle Plaine.   Section baseball then returns to Gaylord Saturday as three games are on the schedule.
