He gained a second family

Zach Dahlman, a financial advisor who works and lives in Gaylord, made a decision to become a stem cell donor during his college years.  It was a decision he doesn’t regret as he eventually gained a second family.  For more on that story, see our July 15th issue.

County may revise park ATV ordinance

Sibley County Commissioners, at a workshop June 22, discussed the possibility of revising its county ordinance on all-terrain vehicle (ATV) use in county parks. Sibley County Sheriff Pat Nienaber asked the commissioners to discuss the issue. School board OK’s budget

Although there are several unknowns, the Sibley East School Board, at its June 21 meeting, approved the Fiscal Year 22 general, food service, and community service district budgets. The proposed budget estimates revenue to be $16,737,622, while expenditures are estimated to be $16,880,443. It is estimated that expenditures will exceed revenue by $142,821.
