Five runs and five straight wins. That was the case for Gaylord’s amateur baseballers Friday as they won their fifth straight with a 5-1 victory over visiting Arlington. Gaylord’s Islanders will play at Belle Plaine on Wednesday (7:30).

Sibley East’s American Legion baseball team remained unbeaten on the season after sweeping Lester Prairie on Thursday. The Wolverines were scheduled to host Waterville-Elysian-Morristown on Monday….due to rain that tilt was postponed and Sibley East will play a doubleheader on this Thursday.
