Card game at courthouse

Retiring Sibley County Attorney Dave Schauer, and the longest serving County Attorney Michael Junge from neighboring McLeod County, will be meeting at the Sibley County Courthouse Monday in the historic 2nd floor Courthouse Rotunda in Gaylord Minnesota for a media opportunity.    The history of these two County Attorneys go way back as Michael and David were classmates in law school.
Part of the event will be a ceremonial card game commemorating the decision from 1856 when Henry Sibley and Martin Mcleod bargained two townships in a game of chance.
For more on that historic card game, see next week’s edition of The Hub
