Injury crash

An Annandale man was injured in a one-vehicle accident Friday night, Nov. 19 at approximately 10:30 p.m. near Winthrop.

According to the Sibley County Sheriff’s Office, Tyler Hansen, 27, was driving a vehicle that was involved in the crash near the intersection of CSAH 4 and 246th Street, about five miles northeast of Winthrop. The Sheriff’s Office believes the vehicle rolled multiple times. Hansen was extracted from the vehicle and was later flown to a metro area hospital via helicopter, the Sheriff’s Office reported.

The Sibley County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the cause of the crash.

The Winthrop Fire Department and Winthrop Ambulance assisted the Sibley County Sheriff’s Office at the accident scene.
