Charles Bandelin – 70
Charles B. Bandelin, age 70, of Brighton, CO, formerly Arlington. passed away at the North Suburban Hospital in Thornton, CO, on Tuesday, July 27, after a short illness.
Charles was born to Carl and Verna Bandelin in Gaylord on Sept. 15, 1950.
He graduated from Arlington-Green Isle High School in 1968. Charles was united in marriage to Sandra Muelling at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Arlington on July 20, 1969. Their marriage was blest with three children.
In 1971, the family moved to Denver, CO, Charles worked with brother, Bernard for Evans International Homes until they went into business for themselves in plumbing and heating in 1977. He remained in that line of work contracting and sub-contracting until his illness this spring. Charles enjoyed hunting and fishing with his sons when not working and loved spending time with his family from near and far.
Charles is survived by daughter, Cari Eyres (Jeff) of King, NC; and son, Chawick of Brighton, CO; seven grandchildren, two step grandchildern and one great-grandchild; brothers, Byron (Cassandra) of Eau Claire, WI and Cornel (Tamara) of Minneapolis; sisters, Barbara (Sheldon) Goetsch of Gaylord and Beverly (Ron) Laabs of Arlington, and sister-in-law, Sharon Bandelin of Brighton, CO.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Sandra; son, Charles, Jr.; parents-in-law, Earl and Josephine Muelling; brother, Bernard Bandelin; brother-in-law, Jerry Muelling; nephew, Matthew Bandelin, and niece, Stephanie Delgado.
Funeral services will be at a later date.
